Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients
- an onion
- a carrot
- olive oil
- 250 g minced pork
- 250 g minced beef
- 3 tablespoons tomato purée
- 300 g spaghetti
- parmesane cheese
Method
1. Peel the onion, scrub the carrot, then very finely chop them.
2. Put some olive oil in a large pan. Add onion and carrot and cook for 10 minutes over a medium heat.
3. Add the meat and fry for 5 minutes, until any liquid has evaporated. Stir regularly.
4. Put in the tomato purée, and cook for about 30
5. When the Bolognese is nearly ready, cook the spaghetti in a large pan of boiling salted water according to packet instructions.
6. Season the Bolognese with sea salt and black pepper.
7. Drain the pasta and add to the Bolognese.
8. Grate over a generous amount of parmesan.
